How to Find A Killer Product and Identifying A Hot Niche
Home »
Since you may be pressed on time (and money), one method you can use is to start by looking for existing products that you could acquire, resell rights to or become an affiliate of. You can search online for different businesses that offer you a commission to sell their products. You can search on Google Trends, Amazon, or Alibaba for the high-selling killer product that caters to your niche.
Tip: As you look through these sites, pay attention to how professional the sites look, how convincing the sales letter is, and how soon after the sale they send out commissions. If you personally feel good about the site, see some great testimonials, and feel that you would want to do business with that company, you’ve probably found a good business to affiliate with.
Finding Your Niche
When trying to figure out which niche to go after, the questions you want to ask yourself are…
– What do I love to do the most? What am I most passionate about in life?
– What subjects do I have a strong emotional feeling towards?
– What am I naturally good at or have an instinct for? (Provided it’s something you enjoy doing!)
– If I were to wake up in the morning and choose to do one thing, what would that be?
– What would express my creative intention and bring out the best in me while doing it?
– How can I benefit myself and others if I were to express my creative intention?
Mostly, the answers may come easy but to others might take time simply because they just have a lot of interests, or it is too broad. Scale down! Find something that you love and has a viable market, if you love baking, as an example, there could be hundreds of you selling cakes within the area. It doesn’t mean that’s the end of the road for you. Scale down. Either you concentrate on a particular cake, or you sell cakes that are gluten-free or eggless cakes or keto cakes. You still get to do what you love and you still cater to a massive niche.
In creating or finding a product or service you want to offer, always remember to solve a particular problem. And if it does, is it going to solve that problem for a long time, or is it seasonal or just trending.
